Manufactured from High Polish Implant Grade Titanium (Ti-6AL-4V-ELI ASTM F136).24 Karat Gold, PVD coated Titanium Captive Fixed Bead Ring allows you to simply twist the hoop open and closed. (Always twist, never pull!) The jewelry resembles a captive bead ring, but the 2mm bead is secured to one end of the high polished implant grade titanium ring, so no more dropped beads! A dimple on the bead allows for a great look once the ring is twisted closed. Perfect for nostrils or any ear piercings.

The gold color, once deposited, stays bonded to the titanium, and does not flake or wear off. Gold PVD is not the same as gold plating, though the two are often confused, as it is more durable and long-lasting. It has a high resistance to daily wear and tear, and is an attractive, more affordable option to solid gold jewelry. 24kt gold is the purest form of gold.
